Row for the Cure is a US Rowing sponsored regatta, which has taken place in over 11 cities in the United States raising more than $500,000 for local community programs. Our regatta will be partnered with the Greater NY Affiliate of the Komen Foundation with 75% of proceeds benefiting NYC and Rockland County, and 25% going directly to the National Chapter. Our 5K regatta will be open to any sweep or sculling rowers, as well as kayakers, canoeists, and dragon boaters, and will include varied distances. Any interested rower is encouraged to gather a minimum pledge of $150, or the equivalent of one mammogram for someone without insurance coverage.
